Colonial Crafts, the last remaining operational Pennsylvania Railroad sleeper/lounge, is coming to town. Built in 1949, the car was used initially on long distance trains from New York to St. Louis and later in its career on New York to Washington, DC premium trains.
The beautifully furnished Crafts carries three attendants who provide Pullman style service to guests. The vintage car can seat up to 32 passengers and the onboard staff are available with refreshing drinks including coffee, hot tea, cocoa, soft drinks, juices, water and a snack tray with delicious treats.
The Crafts car will glide past the historic Lee Hall Depot decorated for the holidays. Upon debarking at the quaint Williamsburg station, enjoy a stroll along Duke of Gloucester Street or a tavern meal before returning. Don't forget, the Grand Illumination is on December 3 from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
