The Newport News Seafood Industrial Park now has its own presence on Facebook. The page is updated with park history, market activity taking place, and providing an inside look into the commercial activities of the tenants located at the park. Recent posts include information on charter fishing boats, videos of the types of high quality seafood available, and current updates on improvement projects.
One of the nation’s premier seafood harbors, the Seafood Industrial Park has 1,000 jobs associated with the 39-acre park. Owned by the City of Newport News, it is an important part of the City’s economy as it is home to a number of seafood and other water-dependent companies. It also provides full-service accommodations to the seafood industry, including utility hook-ups, vessel fueling, and service and repair. Follow the
