Cinco in the City at City Center

The City of Newport NewsParks is joining City Center at Oyster Point and Sinclair Communications to host Cinco in the City, Thursday May 5, in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.5-3 cinco_SC This free event embracing Mexican culture, starts at 6 PM and features food trucks, alcoholic beverage sales (proceeds benefit local charities), piñatas filled with prizes, face painting, corn hole, and lawn games. Dance the night away with music from Tumbao Salsero who will play a variety of Salsa, Merengue, Guaguancó, Son Montuno, Jazz, Bomba, and Plena. Blankets and chairs are allowed but outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Pets are not permitted in the event area.
