Women are being empowered at City Center at Oyster Point on Saturday, August 12 for the 2nd Annual
I AM Festival. The event, which takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.,

is a celebration of Women’s Equality Day honoring the accomplishments and achievements of women around the world. The
I Am Festival is a family friendly event where guests can enjoy live music from Muddy Gems and United Souls, shop with numerous vendors, and learn about programs from various community associations. Parents can bring their children to the “Kidsville” area of the festival for carnival-style games, face painting, balloon animals and more. Food, beer, and wine are also available for sale.
Although the event is free, organizers are asking for a minimum of a $5 donation. Proceeds benefit charities
