Newport News Police Officer Selected for Coast Guard Award

Newport News Police Officer Kendra Drucker, who is also a member of the United States Coast Guard Reserve serving as a Marine Science Technician 1st Class (MST1)Drucker_SC was selected as the Reserve Enlisted Person of the Year for United States Coast Guard Sector Hampton Roads. 

Officer Drucker was nominated by her supervisors and was selected by a panel of Chief Petty Officers assigned to Sector Hampton Roads. The nomination for Officer Drucker was quite impressive and reflects highly on her character and abilities as both a member of the USCGR and the Newport News Police Department.

Officer Drucker has served with the United States Coast Guard for 12 years and with the Newport News Police Department for 3 years. Congratulations to Officer Drucker!
