DMV Connect, its mobile customer service center, to downtown Newport News. DMV Connect is the newest outreach program that serves Virginians who may not be able to travel to a DMV office. On Monday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., customers may visit Newport News City Hall lobby at 2400 Washington Avenue to take advantage of most of DMV’s services.

DMV Customers may:
• Apply for or renew an ID card - available for adults and children.
• Apply for or renew a driver's license
• Get a copy of a driving record.
• Obtain vehicle titles, license plates, decals, transcripts.
• Order disabled parking placards or plates.
• Update an address in DMV records. At the same time, you can update your voter registration address and organ donor status.
