To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Noland Trail and to celebrate the local community that supports the park, the Mariners’ Museum is hosting
Celebrate the Park this Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Celebrate the Park is a free event that features live bluegrass and folk music with the
Raw Beets and
In Laymans Terms. Activities include make-and-take activities, family games and scavenger hunt, interactive environmental displays and demonstrations, nature walks on the Noland Trail, pet adoption with Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter, and much more!

Celebrate the Park is held on the museum's front lawn. Food trucks are on-site for an additional charge, and park, trail, and lake merchandise is available for purchase. Be sure to take the park survey at the event for a free pair of sunglasses (while supplies last) and also be entered to win great prizes donated by community partners Lowes, Village Bicycles, REI, and Reach Orthotics and Prosthetics.
