The Planning & Technology Division consists of the Planning and Research Detail, Analytical Services Unit, Information Technology Unit, and the Accreditation Detail. These areas provide assistance in the areas of research, policy development, crime statistics and analysis, and technology and computer systems for the entire department.
Additionally, this division is responsible for the management of the agency’s law enforcement accreditation process, as well as the development and management of other technical-related and informational processes, such as the Strategic Management Plan and the agency’s Framework for the Future chapter.
