Construction record drawings, also known as, “as-builts” are required to be submitted for review and accepted by the city for any constructed stormwater management facility. Construction record drawings are also required to be submitted for review and accepted by the city for any storm sewer and/or sanitary sewer connection to the city infrastructure.
The Stormwater Management Facility Construction Record Drawing Administrative Policy and checklist is intended to assist the applicant in putting together a complete submission package. The checklist must be filled-out and signed by the applicant to certify that all necessary information is provided on the drawings.
Construction record drawing requirements for city sewer connections shall be in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission Regional Construction Standards manual, Division I Section 105.V and any Newport News Special Provisions.
Construction record drawings are typically reviewed and comments are provided within fifteen (15) business days.
