Are you a qualified pet trainer?
Pet training and new owner education are the keys to a successful pet adoption. To support new adopters as they learn about their new companions, the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter (PRAS) is reaching out to see how you can support adopters as pet trainers in our communities. The PRAS promotes Positive/Rewards based training. We are growing a list of qualified pet trainers, and what discounts or free initial support trainers are willing to provide our adopters. This list will be available on our website, our Intake/Reunite lobby, and in our adoption folders. If you are a pet trainer interested in supporting successful adoptions of shelter animals, please fill out and submit this form to the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter.
