Motor Carrier Safety/Weight Enforcement Team

Motor Carrier Safety/Weight Enforcement personnel perform commercial vehicle safety and driver inspections per Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. They also enforce over dimensional and weight limits. In addition, they present safety and load securement information to other city departments and the private sector upon request. This re-enforces the three E's: Engineer, Educate and Enforce. They work closely with the city's permit office personnel to ensure the safety of the motoring public.
