The Fire Department supports the Special Operations Teams Program to provide specialized response and to be prepared for potential catastrophic events. These teams supply the department with specialized data, equipment, and expertise during an emergency incident.
Operational Guidelines

Teams
The Battalion Chief of Special Operations is responsible for the overall management of the Fire Department's 4 Specialty Teams. Each of the teams has an officer assigned to serve as team coordinator to oversee daily operations and administrative duties.
