The City of Newport News recognizes and honors employees in a variety of different ways when employees reach service milestones and exhibit positive performance behaviors. We promote the philosophy that employees are valuable assets that are motivated through recognition and rewards. As a result, the City has implemented several recognition programs to reward employee contributions.
